Meet Dr. Gretchen Harris

Dr. Gretchen Harris grew up in the small town of Holstein, Iowa, where her passion for dentistry took root as she watched her uncle, also a dentist, care for his patients with compassion and expertise. This early inspiration led her to pursue a degree in biochemistry from Central College in Pella, IA, where she graduated summa cum laude.
During her college summers, she worked as a dental assistant in her hometown, further deepening her appreciation for the artistry of dentistry. Dr. Harris then attended dental school at Oregon Health and Science University, graduating with honors. With her small-town values, Dr. Harris prioritizes building strong relationships with her patients and providing personalized, evidence-based care in the least invasive manner possible. She is a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the Oregon Dental Association.
Now living in Bend with her husband, Dr. Harris enjoys rock climbing, skiing, knitting, and visiting family when she’s not in the office.
